Pearls of Motivation...The Ramayana

The Ramayana is the most familiar and respected epic to the people of India. Not only in India, but also in the other parts of the world this epic had been a known name since the last couple of decades to the Hindus.
Lord Rama and his wife Sita Devi are regarded as the most respected inseparable couple of deities by Hindus. He is believed to be an Avatara of Lord Vishnu who took birth in Treta Yuga in Ayodhya.
Lord Rama's parents were king Dasharatha and queen Kaushalya.Rama ,being the eldest of the four sons of king Dasharatha ,was too dearest to his father. But,he was sent to 14 years vanavasa as duped by  step mother Kaikayee.Sita,as a sati ,accompanied him throughout these 14 tough years of vanavasa.
For a person who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, vanavasa was not an easy task. But,his love for his parents made Rama to take it on happily.During those period,Rama killed many Aashuras and it was just to give comfort to the honest and needy people. He is known as the Maryada Purushuttama in Indian Mythology.
Laxman, the younger brother of Lord Rama, followed his beloved brother's footsteps and willfully decided to be the protector of Rama and Sita Devi. So,he also accompanied Rama.
During these times,King Ravana kidnaped Sita and imprisoned her in Ashok Vatika. The slave Rakshashis tourtured Sita in worst possible ways but Sita kept her deepest faith in her husband Rama.
With the help of Vanara Sena,Rama made a Setu across the sea by putting stones with 'Rama' written on the stones.Rama's Sevaka  helped him with all his heart to reach and conquer Lanka. So,evenafter years passed since the Treta Yuga,Hanuman is always faithfully remembered with Rama and Sita whenever it comes to Ramayana.
In the meanwhile,14 years vanavasa was over and Rama and Sita were called back to Ayodhya to Crown him back.During all these 14 years Lora Rama always kept his faith in Truth,Justice and Law.
From the story Ramayana,it is apparent that patience should be there whenever we face a problem.Using unfair means to get success in any venture can only bring a fragile victory.Patience is to be coupled with hardwork and dedication in every important step that we may take.We should help the needy as much as we can.
We should be united to establish TRUTH and HONESTY.Although the new generation may feel this story as old ,but it reminds us that Old is Gold.
A small feet put forward in the path of Truth and Justice can make a Big Step in the long run.
